Another brief (man-style) update

Last evening we completed VBS with probably around 140 children. It concluded with a Gospel presentation and an invitation to accept Christ from Arman. We know that a few did pray the "prayer of repentance" as they refer to it here, but we don't really know how many. Afterwards we split up into two teams and visited two homes. We then took all of our translators to the beach and bought them dinner. It was a fabulous feast. We didn't come close to eating all the food, including very good kabobs, shish-kabobs, and many other things that I can't identify, all for about $5 a person. Today we are taking it easy. We prepared a bit for church services tomorrow and visited the market in Yerevan again.

Please pray for our upcoming activities:

* Tomorrow morning John is preaching in church in the morning on Acts 7. It's his first time. Incidentally, it's John and Leila's first anniversary tomorrow. We will also lead in some songs in church. Emily will give her testimony.

* Tomorrow evening is the first church service for the new plant in Sevan. We are planning to show the Jesus Film, lead a couple of songs, and give a brief Gospel message. We expect that many of the children from VBS will attend along with their families.

* We have received four invitations to visit families on Monday and two more that we could do with Monday or Teusday.

* At the moment, this means that Tuesday is completely open and Monday may not be completely filled either. Pray that we will find a good use for our time, whether in helping in some way at the seminary or trying to manufacture more visits.
